Yes, I know I'm kind of late, but I figured it's ok since today is Chinese New Year!
Check out these pictures I got of the Macy's window in Herald Square today.
WARNING: It's shot with an iPhone and the lights/glare from all of the neighboring stores would not let me be Bill Cunningham. Nonetheless, the glamorous and festive dressing got me all warm (and hopeful) inside for what is to come.
For the past few weeks following New Year's Day 2018, I have been working on keeping the promises I've made to myself:
1. Only put positive energy into the universe (with your thoughts and actions). Anything else is a hindrance on your spirit and creativity.
2. Be kind, even when it hurts (if you had my coworkers, you'd know I'm in excruciating pain right now).
3. Keep up with your exercise regimen.
4. Be You-nique (I coined that...I think) in all that you do!
So far, I've kept all of my commitments and hope to maintain this festive and joyous feeling all year round. Check out how I used my love for the holiday season and seasonal decorating to express my You-niqueness:
Yes, I left my Christmas tree up for Valentine's Day and put heart ornaments on it.
Yes I did the absolute MOST and pushed my manicurist to the brink of madness.
But this year is about me. My hopes, my dreams, my happiness, reaping the benefits of my efforts and smelling the roses in between. May it will be the same for you as well. I know we all say that every year, but let's try to actually live it past January 1st.
Thanks for your continued support! More designs coming soon...
